February 16th, 2010: Changes
I promised myself one thing last year; on New Year’s Eve to be specific. I was really sick and cold and freezing and coughing and… yeah. Right there and then I came up with my new years resolution for 2010: I’m going to make a better life for myself.
And I think I have, or at least I’ve laid the foundation. Starting with, I’m more structured when it comes to...

December 21st, 2009: Three
Only three days left till Christmas. Yes, in Norway we celebrate Christmas on the 24th, not the 25th like in a lot of other countries. Spent the evening shopping with Elin, checking the final presents and to-do’s off the list. And believe it or not: I saw the crown princess today. Yes, the crown princess, the real one, in person. Hawt.
At the moment: Aero. Jean Michel Jarre’s Aero,...

December 15th, 2009: Christmas time is here
It snowed a lot last night so everything is covered in white here now. The temperature has dropped below zero (celsius, of course), and there are small, orange lights everywhere. Yup, sounds like christmas to me. I’m gonna start blogging a bit again, I kinda miss blogging. Or tumbling. I like tumbling better, it sounds more interesting.
I’ve been working at a hardware store at the...

September 25th, 2009: No moar summer~!
Ah, autumn. My favorite time of the year for some reason. I guess I just love the leaves turning yellow, the cold crisp air, the nights getting longer and longer… I’m a complex human being. Uni is going well, for now anyways. Started more classes this wednesday, very interesting stuff actually, mostly about technology and media related things. So it should be right up my alley. I guess...

This and this and this and this and this would be greatly appreciated.
AKA if nobody gets me one, which is more likely than anything, I’m buying one or two myself at some point later this year.
August 28th, 2009: Magnetic Fields
Magnetic Fields - or Les Chants Magnétiques - is one of the Jean Michel Jarre albums I’ve kinda overlooked because Oxygène and Equinoxe are so awesome. It was like that with Zoolook too, and Zoolook is probably my favorite JMJ album at the moment. I gotta stop ignoring albums like that, ‘cause LCM Part I is probably one of the most awesome songs I’ve heard from JMJ. Yes, the song...
August 25, 2009: No time for tumblin'
Gawd, it’s been too long since I posted. Again. Sorry, guys. I’ve been kinda busy.
The major busy factor has without a doubt been UiO (University of Oslo). Yes indeed, public university for me this year. And the two next years to come as well if everything goes well. I’m very happy over there, actually, I’m getting to know a lot of new people, learning about stuff I never...

July 29th, 2009: BOOT, you feckin...!
I’m a firm believer in DIY, though only when it comes to computers. I’ve nothing against the companies who sell pre-built desktop computers, not at all, but building a computer from scratch with my bare hands is a LOT funnier. I can choose the chassis, the components, the peripherals, making sure it turns out just the way I want it to. Also, building it myself gives me more bang for my...
July 22nd, 2009: Norway!
So I got home from Germany the other night. Me and Elin went down to Düsseldorf for a little break from Norway, which was nice. We spent our time in Düsseldorf shopping; Elin bought a ton of clothes (I don’t know how women manage to do that), and I bought a few trinkets matching my personal tastes. Noise-cancelling headphones from Bose, for instance (fantastic headphones all around, gives...
July 10th, 2009: CAT-scans, birthdays and GFX
I just got home from the doctor’s, who after poking and prodding me for a little while, adamantly stated that he couldn’t say what was wrong with me. Doctors are odd creatures. In any event, I’m supposed to call and get an appointment to have a CAT scan, so I’ll try and call a bit later on.
I turned 22 this past Wednesday. As if I didn’t already feel old enough. But...
July 3rd, 2009. Arrr! Where's me loot!
Yeah. Got home from the emergency room. I am now, officially, kind of a pirate. The doctor told me I might have damage to the bone tissue or meniscus in my knee, so I’ve got crutches and a prescription for some anti-inflammatory medications, as well as being told to visit my doctor and see a specialist to see if I need some special soles for my shoes.
Short version: still in pain, got...
Mr. Cederholm is now even more awesome →
Dan Cederholm, you are the effing man. Not only has this guy written books and blog posts which have inspired me beyond imagination, but he’s the one who got me interested in the field of web design altogether. And now he’s written a book on CSS along with Ethan Marcotte? I’ve died and gone to monkey heaven.
oooo i’ll find hobos and clean their clothes!

July 2nd, 2009: Almost pirate.
Arrr! Where’s me loot, ye scurvy monkeys!
Or: I totally messed up my leg for no good reason, and I have no idea how.
And let me say this too, I’m beginning to think nine years of tae kwon do is catching up to me. My knee hurts, and my leg below my kneecap feels dead, like I’ve been walking or standing for 48 hours straight. And of course this hit me when I was in Denmark. I...

June 28th 2009: Like, a boat?
Okay, this trip came up on me a tad faster than expected. I need to pack, and my bag is in the attic. I can’t get up in the attic because my hip, for some reason, is killing me. So I haven’t packed any clothes yet, but I know what I’m taking with me so it’s just a matter of actually getting them into the bag. I’ve packed my lenses, battery charger and memory cards, my...
June 27th 2009: Inorit?

Chris: Tumblelog. What an awesome name.
June 27th 2009: Happy Birthday~!
Indeed, it’s my nephew’s seventh birthday today. Yay! Happy Birthday Eirik. :3
It’s still too hot for my personal liking here. The sun is up, not a cloud in sight, the insects are flying around, the flowers are blooming, the kids in the neighborhood are playing outside. I guess I should be thankful summer is here though, the winters here are next of kin to endless.

PSDtuts Interviews Vlad Gerasimov →
Today PSDtuts published an interview with the person who might have been the most inspiring to me of all time; illustrator and PS genius Vlad Gerasimov. Vlad’s wallpapers and PS tutorials are all awesome, his style and use of colours is right up my alley. Good read altogether.
June 26th 2009: TGL Stuff
Booned suggested we do a tribute to Michael Jackson, sort of a Battle Royale where we make and post stuff we’ve done to give the King of Pop a final tribute. Mercer suggested we’d do a banner thread with banners everybody can use. I like both ideas, and I’m leaning towards Mercer’s idea, to be honest. I know I’m gonna contribute. This is too big a deal for me to miss...
LESS - Leaner CSS →
This actually looks pretty damn cool. Being able to use variables in CSS is worth the look alone, but also for the sake of being able to use nested rules. Definitely going to have a closer look at this later on.

June 26th 2009: RIP King Of Pop
I’m still in shock, to be perfectly honest. One of the greatest musicians of all time is dead, one of my biggest idols and sources of inspiration is gone. All my life, I’ve listened to his music. I recall listening to Dangerous when I was 7-8 years old and we were on vacation up in the mountains. And even then I liked it so much, I just listened to it over and over and over and over....

June 25th 2009: OMG HOT~!
Jesus Christ, what did I ever do to deserve this goddamn heat~?! It’s so hot outside I’m still sweating and it’s like 1045 PM! The sun hasn’t even gone down! Can someone tell me why people CHOOSE to live in Australia and California and other even HOTTER places? It’s unbearable, I tell you!
I’ve stocked up on iced tea, ice cubes, Snickers ice cream bars and...
June 25th 2009: Hot.
It really is super hot outside today. I can’t even be in my room because of the damn heat. My computer would probably give in, even though it’s usually very cool. I’ve got no creative drive today either, I just wanna sit in my chair, watch Hell’s Kitchen, play Championship Manager, browse WF, drink my strawberry smoothie and relax. And later, maybe some Paper Mario TTYD or...

Scott Hansen’s website/blog/portfolio. This guy is a genius, no doubt about it.
Heythere
I guess I’ll have a go with Tumblr too. I see a lot of people using it so I should probably get acquainted with it as well. It looks fairly straightforward I guess. I’m gonna go explore now, kthx.
